I assume it’s directed at me given I’m the only wht male under 50 in earshot. They have around 9 kids, just had a new one, from this they collect an insane amount of government money. The father deals drugs, the cops know, but won’t go near him. This combined with the government income makes them one of the richest families in the street. Not a single person in that house has ever had a job, they all have the latest phones/TV’s/gaming consoles/clothes/shoes/etc. The only time their lawns get done, is when we have an event at my place, and I don’t want the attendees thinking we live in a degenerate neighbourhood, so I mow it. Last time I was edging the lawn shared by our property, he walked past and openly called me a wht dog, then spat on the ground. Im twice this guys size, it’s a NC, but he feels so comfortable in the modern world, he will say that knowing if I break his jaw, I will get the raw end of it in a big way. Living next to this family has opened my eyes in a big way

From the opening scene, they let you now, this is something else, it's not a serious time piece, it's a fun movie. When they drop into Golden Years in the dance scene, its also amazing. One of the most fun movies I've ever seen, and I'm the kind of person who usually goes for dark and serious. If it were serious, Jocelyn would have been burned at the stake for offending the priest 10 mins into the movie, or any of her other quippy remarks made towards powerful lords. Kate wouldn't own her own smith. Having been on the tournament tour with Sir Ector for 12+ years, everyone would know who William, Roland, and Wat were. Jeffrey would have been put in the stocks for suggesting Lords and peasants were equals. A blind, dirty thatcher in peasant rags wouldn't be sat with Lords and Ladies, regardless of who his son was. etc, etc, etc.
