@Elijah Byrd
While I’m positive you’re intentionally missing the point, I’ll answer your disingenuous question.
A company logo on a jersey is paid advertisement. The company pays the organisation to display their brand, in the hope the followers of the organisation will show support to the company that is showing support to the organisation, by buying its product. The organisation uses this money to employ players/support staff, maintain facilities, etc.
The wider gay community is not a company, it is not selling a product, and it is not paying to advertise a product. It is demanding their ideologies be supported and promoted, for free, by people who don’t share them, and in many cases oppose them.”, and are doing so through threat of social destruction, harassment, abuse, accusations, etc.
So these players have a choice, wear it or lose your job. This is essentially being “forced”. But it’s not just their job, now they’re open to social vilification, because if you won’t wear it, that means you must hate it, and everyone involved.
I’m sure you will ignore this and continue asking disingenuous leading questions.
All the best.
