  6. @PaulBadman981 At the point it was stopped, what % chance of winning do you think Jared had? 1%? He was skating, turning his back, running away, and looked like he had drunk 2 bottles of whiskey. Bad stoppage, sure, but he was getting slept very shortly after that.

  16. He was gone, on skates, turning his back and running, but he was still borderline there. I think he was about 15 seconds away from getting brutally knocked out, but it was a big fight for him, so he would probably have wanted to go out on his shield.

  36. @RunninDaGameDR It’s very rare for that to happen, your example has a guy who is now 50 in it, and Barry has been retired for over a decade. I believe one of the Serra Longo (Scott? Steve? someone, he was on TUF) guys did it 15 years ago, and AJ did it at WW about that long ago. I can’t recall any others. I’d place a large amount of cash on him being asleep within 15 seconds of the stoppage had the fight continued.

  37. @RunninDaGameDR I agree it should have been let go a bit longer, but he was going to sleep. In an undercard for a young fighter, this was an ok stoppage. In a main event with a fighter at the end of the road, you’ve got to give him the chance… but still, he was going to sleep.
