  1. Then you don’t understand scoring criteria. This was a competitive 30-27. Damage trumps all, and in every round, Jack did more damage. Going 3/20 on TD attempts, landing 100 less strikes, and not attempting any submissions doesn’t win you a fight.

  3. Jack fought the dumbest fight I’ve seen in a long time. Did more damage for sure, but that was some dumb ass sh!t going to the ground when the dude can barely stand.

  4. @kevinhousekeeperholland1304 Holding on for dear life ain’t grappling, son. Advance position, beat them up, go for subs, or you’re no better than a striker who won’t engage on the feet, and should be warned for timidity. They changed scoring criteria for a reason.

  5. @pilgrim7globalltd227 Have YOU read the rules? Control is the dead last scoring criteria. If someone uses your head as a speed bag in the first half of the round, laying on them the second half doesn’t win you the round.

  7. @abediasif4822 It’s not a wrestling match either, son. You don’t get points for TD’s that lead nowhere. You don’t get points for laying on top of someone. IF there is no damage to judge, then they would judge on grappling, but going 3/20 on TD attempts isn’t really making a case. No submission attempts from him either, so really only control time, which is dead last in scoring criteria behind aggression. The thing is, there was striking to judge, and it was mostly one way.

  14. @courageousempire7331 Control time may be important to YOU, but it’s not important to the scoring criteria when judging an MMA fight, unless NOTHING else happens. The purpose of a TD is to get your opponent in a position that allows you to submit them or beat them up.
