  1. It’s not keyboard warrior stuff, it’s reality. It would be very hard in some cases not to let that get the better of you. These people are basically goading you into hurting them. They’re are the adult equivalent of the kid who puts his finger 1cm from your eyeball while repeating “not touching you, not touching you”.

  2. @Maegnas99 They have no care for my life or wellbeing. They don’t care if I get fired and lose my house as a result. If you want to bring that sort of violence to my already stressed life, there is no human decency to speak of between us. If you push the issue, I will not treat you with the respect I would afford strangers in a different situation. You instigated it, you decided to harass me. You don’t get to play victim.

  7. No cop has ever been held accountable for anything across history. Their actions are protected by law. Part of the reason they scare me. I’m aware they can shoot me like a dog in the street and walk away with paid leave while it blows over.

  8. @stevep7346 It’s not tolerance, it’s threat of police violence. These people don’t face police consequences for harassing me, but I will certainly face police consequences for returning the favour.

  9. @mnelly7593 Incorrect, we want the police to ensure safety, not hide behind speed cameras and raise revenue. I’d prefer to see 10 patrolling squad cars than 10 speed cameras, but we get 10 cameras. If a cop pulls me over and I broke the law, I’ll be a reasonable human. If a cop pulls me over trying to hem me up to meet their quotas, I won’t be reasonable at all. The police receive the respect they deserve, for the lack of job they do.
