Kid shouldn’t be there. Also, my opinion of cops however jaded wouldn’t be shared with children. A child needs to know if they are lost, a police officer will help them. For a male child at around 14 I would educate them on the dangers involved with police interaction, before that they (generally) aren’t a target for cops, after that age I fear for their safety in police interaction.
