thank you for this video. i think the times are slowly changing though. hopefully by the time gen z get to be in their 50's and running the country, we'll be in a much better place. i really hope things can change.

Catlizard the solution is ranked choice voting, so you can vote for the best party without throwing away your vote and allowing the greater of two evils win. but we're a republic, not a democracy. because our system is outdated and the electoral college was designed before the printing press. so people had to travel several months by horse-drawn carriage just to get info to DC, and then several months to get it back to the state, where the information was not even able to be disseminated among the people. we don't need the electoral college anymore, but we do need to become a democracy and have ranked choice voting.

Catlizard we needed bernie, but the two party system, which was said to be the greatest evil that could ever befall our country, suppressed bernie in their media and their delegates, so that biden would win the primaries. they're all oligarchs, left and right. they would rather lose with biden than win with bernie and have their oligarchal power undermined by someone who was paid for by the people, rather than giant corporations.
