  1. From Cincinnati, Ohio: "On January 11, 2006, Police Officers Kristina Holtmann and Lauren Smith stopped Mr. Dante Person for traffic investigation. While Officer Smith placed an arrested subject from Mr. Person’s vehicle into their marked police vehicle, Officer Holtmann requested Mr. Person exit his vehicle. During an ensuing struggle between Mr. Person and Officer Holtmann, Mr. Person shot Officer Holtmann in the face with his .45 caliber handgun. Officer Holtmann regained her composure and, along with Officer Smith, fired several shots wounding Mr. Person in the leg."
