  12.  @EnriqueVivancoH  Kherson is part of Ukraine. Half the city's population fled to Ukrainian held territory when Putin invaded. Kherson Oblast is 82% ethnically Ukrainian, and only 14% ethnically Russian. The Russian fascists occupy it now but they can't hold it.

Under the Soviet Union, Crimea was an autonomous republic from 1921 until 1945. Then Stalin punished it for alleged collaboration with Germany and made it part of Russia from 1945 to 1954. Then the Soviet Union made it part of Ukraine. In 2014, Putin violated Russia's treaty with Ukraine and seized it.

  44. Journalists ask questions. Hard questions. Why don't you ask these Russian soldiers about what they think? How many casualties have they taken? Are they getting enough food? Do they support this mission? Do they even know what the goals of the mission are? How do they feel about Ukraine and Ukrainians? I could go on and on. Another thing, the Russians in this sector have had the same defensive line for many many weeks now. How do they feel about that? If you want to be a journalist ask questions. Don't just be a travel guide for the Russian army.
