  7.  @ah5836  Putin grabbed Crimea in 2014 and instigated coups in Luhansk and Donbas in 2014 as well. When the coup leaders started to fail, he sent in troops to back them up. Russians have been there ever since. Then this year, Putin decided to grab all of Ukraine. Russia's so called LPR and DPR never abided by the Minsk Accords and Putin ripped up treaties with Ukraine by invading in 2014 and again in 2022. These legal arguments fail. Putin is like Hitler, Treaties are made to be broken.

  8.  @ah5836  None of those countries are invading other countries, murdering civilians and grabbing territory. Only Putin. Putin said he wants to "demilitarize" and "denazify" Ukraine, whatever that means. After failing to take Odessa, Kyiv and Kharkiv, he decided to scale back his objectives to just grabbing 4 Oblasts, for now. Thankfully Ukraine has forced him back and even now he doesn't fully control these Oblasts and controls less territory every day. The US has no intention of invading Russia and even the most paranoid anti American Putinist knows that. But Russia has invaded Ukraine and occupied many of its neighbors. Ukraine will never let that happen again and Putin's fascist regime is learning a hard lesson.
