  1. A straight line is only useful for architects and engineers. Straight lines are useless in astrophysics and cosmology, because it doesn't exist. Why? Everything in space moves (in a curve). Absolutely everything. Even in the solar system (a tiny upon miniscule part of the universe). Try flying to Mars; you fly there along a hyperbola, not a straight line. Why? Everything in the solar system moves. This is not magic; it is Galileo and Eibstein. Galileo on inertia, Einstein on space-time.
