In 1940, Stalin's predatory reasoning vis-a-vis Germany and Britain (i.e. Germany would have to defeat the British Empire, or come to an official political settlement), before turning on the Soviet Union, was more logical than Hitler's Gotterdammerung line of thought including that the British were somehow "defeated". However, Stalin had not guessed this line of emotive Hitlerian reasoning.

  3. Hitler's belief in his political genius is extremely egotistical and delusional. However, Hitler's "genius" was not exclusively his. All the other main war leaders; Stalin, Churchill and Roosevelt also had egotistical delusions of granduer to some degree.
