  1. If you are review extraordinary warships from World War I and II; I would thoroughly recommend that you review the amazing story of the light cruiser, the SMS Emden of the Imperial German Navy. The story of the gallant and highly successful exploits of this ship and crew would fill not one, but two adventure novels (PS I am not trying to glorify war at sea here, or belittle loss of human life and suffering in naval combat situations and adrift at sea).
