  5. My hats off to Australians. EVs are heavy, NOT GREEN (John Cadogan did the emission numbers of the Telsa Model Y versus Mazda 2). Additionally one car is three times as expensive to buy as the other (guess which one) . The carbon emissions are EQUIVALENT and EV are not only lengthy to charge, they are UNSAFE as battery fires can happen during crashes and during charging (although hybrids will have this problem as well to a lesser degree).

All for the car dissappearing in medium to high density locations, if nothing to reduce gridlocked traffic and traffic accidents (this of course includes EVs), but does the metropolitan and national governments do anything about it? Nothing. They prefer to shift payment to the individual, so that they again pay for the inconvinience of getting to work on time and to pick up the kids with the added annoyance of waiting 30 minutes to pay for your battery. What do i mean you may ask? This means paying for rolling out public transport infrastructures like buses, trains and trams. Riding these vehicles reduces CO2 output much better than owning an EV.
