A free media may mock a leader for his mediocrity and shallowness (this is fundamentally Morrison), whereas a dictator may not be mocked at the behest of your own livelihood or even life. That is seriously f**ked up. For the free and brave at heat, the only solution is revolution.

  3. I understand the Nineteen Eighty Four Orwellian nature of the CCP. Happily, the people of HK are fighting back against this fickle, authoritarian Xi Jinping lead dictatorship. Absolute political power is inherently unstable, so I see no viable long-term future of China (indeed with anything laudable or good) with the Cult of Leadership (leadership into the Maoist abyss, again) with Xi in charge.

  5. The driest inhabited continent on Earth is the Southern Hemisphere, but it's called Antarctica, not Australia (for your benefit, Antarctica is now continually inhabited by Homo Sapiens). I feel the South can take a more aggressive hemispherical nationalist stand to the North (anything above the equator) and tell them to go f**k off. Leave us alone ;-)

  13. Rubbish, we invaded HEAPS of countries (since Federation) starting with Papua New Guinea (at least half of which was German) in 1914. Vietnam? We were only invited there by the Yanks and a tiny puppet minority holding power lest the country fell to Communists (which did eventually happen). We had no business being there. Arguably, more recently, in 1999 we invaded East Timor without the consent of the Indonesian government (which did admittedly invade East Timor in 1974 and created their own scene of deprivation, violence and genocide). Even China, we invaded (with cruisers and gunboats) in 1900 with the Boxer Rebellion (against the feudal and corrupt remnants of the Qing government, but nevertheless why the f**k go there?). Name a country we have not f**king well invaded.

  14. The coronavirus is a virtual trade war in this economic isolation downturn. China, and more specifically the CCP present a longer term problem though than this germ. Their nefarious political (and economic meddling) undermines Australia politically, and hence long-term, economically. A country of naivety is a country bound for severe social division, exploitation and economic impoverishment. So the next generations of Australians pay the penalty for the nativity, greed and myopia of the current lot. There is no indicator that Chinese students studying here, return to China with their pro-political views of the CCP in any way changed. After all, they are the scions of the CCP; their parents have done well out of their CCP connections or are their officials in government. The corona virus thus should be a wake up call; anything out of China is bad and toxified. Their government is toxic and the means to incubate pandemics through bad hygiene coupled with a perverted need to consume wild animals (from whence this virus came), is toxic. Dealing with this country therefore is high risk in the short and long-term; we're feeling the full economic downturn effects (as well as the impinging medical effects) combined. This is in order to reduce the toxic effects of this germ on the wider population. What people may not realize is that this pandemic will return in a mutated form again I'm a decade or two, where any vaccines developed for this current pandemic is useless. Can you put up with this, can you?
