There ought to be a book written about Jinn. The Jinn reminds me of Celtic/Scandinavian legends of Faeries. Faeries are not like Tinkerbell; that is a Disneyesque adoption. Although they can appear small, most Faeries are human sized. The live in an avatar (non-human inhabited pseudo-land) called Fae or Faeryland which has portals on Earth. Many Faeries are magical and some are powerful, like the Faery Queen. Time spent in Faeryland, goes much slower than time spent in the mortal realm. Like the Jinn, Faeries can be good or bad towards humans. However, this being somewhat vague for the Jinn, is classified in Faeryland as the Seelie Court (good faeries) and the Unseelie Court (bad faeries). Faeries are known to steal human babies and substitute them with their own (a changeling). It is very bad luck to insult Faeries, as would be Jinn, I expect. One class of Faery that guards treasure is the Leprechaun.

Seems all spiritual relevations come to a man (while we are examining mysticism). What about similar relevations coming to a women, or is this absurd and revolutionary and why so? Are all relevations held in a male cranium only, or is god or the gods misogynist? This is not just a critique of Sikhi, but of all religions.
