  1. EVs in a big country like Australia is fine if you don't leave the city limits. No-one will build out EV charge points across the wide but empty Nullarbor plain for example. So EVs in Australia are useless for touring or long-distance driving. This is the same problem in Canada or the United States. This is a big local reason in Australia not to buy an EV. Hybrid vehicles, because they have a charging petrol engine, are more practical in Australia and other big countries.
