That advanced technological based lifeforms have not been found anywhere else is not an apriori assumption for their existence, just their rarity in the Milky Way galaxy. If we ignore religious suppositions, then the probability of human existence, a singular species of synapid primate mammal, is also very improbable through evolutionary hazards (e.g. mass extinction events) to Eukaryotes on Earth. Hence, for other extraterrestrial species as well, since they have not been detected anytime since our history. Until now. Attracted probably by the strong microwave emissions eminating from aircraft carriers, and the dozens of warplanes flying around them, maybe those unidentified robot flying capsules flying near there, with incredible inertia, might possibly be conjectured as of extraterrestrial origin.
