  1. Colour perception for humans is like the invention of television. Eatly TV sets are, um , black and white or more accurately greyscale. It might be similar to human languages. A descriptor of the colour of the sky is not straightforward as it seems. The sky changes colour for the state of it's cloudiness or time of day or time of the year. Smoke and dust changes the colour of the sky. So to describe a moving feast like the colour of the sky is not straightforward. Similar problem with the sea.
