  1. China's current political system is really awful. Not all that suprised that Xi thinks these nihilistic thoughts regarding war. Hitler was geopolitically deluded about the Soviet Union as well (pointed out in this video), but suprisingly not as much as Xi, vis-a-vis the United States. In the Winter War 1940 against small Finland, the Soviet Union forces were decimated while the Finns fought against them alone (partially equipped by Germany) which was very much noticed by the Nazis. There is no real indicator of weakness of the United States or NATO currently, and Russia also is weak. Xi is playing on a "busted hand" if this all is a poker game.
