  1. "Being unpredictable". What happens if a US warplane is brought down by buzzing the aircraft by PLA jets? This has happened frequently, almost monthly now. Similarly with a US ally, for example Canada or Australia carrying out operations over international waters in the South China Sea. They (PLA jets) have deployed chaff dangerously close to the warplanes of both RAAF and RCAF. My guess is that the hyena-like mentality of the CCP and PLA will go harder on the "small prey" (Canada and Australia). Consequently, these dangerous air manoeuvres by the PLA are calculated. I doubt either the USAF, RAAF or RCAF have considered this scenario of retaliation playout, if or more likely when, their planes are brought down by a collision. If they have, all these governments are keeping their reaction secret to when an "accident" finally does happen. In my opinion, it would be far better for these governments to meet and make a joint statement of the consequences of what "accident" by close flying manoeuvres might mean for the PLA and CCP.
