Other facts wrong about geology this time. The Precambrian ends at the start of the Cambrian Period, which was 539 million years ago, not the 1.5 billion years mentioned (although Australia has quite a bit of geology that age), which is in the Mesoproterozoic era. Precambrian is a rarely used word in geology journals these days, referenced instead to the Proterozoic and Archean eons. Also the last extensive glaciation did not just occur in the Carboniferous period, it mainly occurred in the Permian period (in line with evidence elsewhere in rocks on continents other than Australia for that period), including Australia where Australia back then was close to the South Pole and the supercontinent of Pangaea had formed. Note, in central Australia, the Petermann Range or Petermann Orogeny was an extensive mountain building occurring there in the Carboniferous. So get your facts right about mountains as well. However, no new mountain ranges since the Mesozoic era. That is true.

Aboriginal population of Australia in 1788 (pre measles and smallpox pandemics) has been estimated more likely to be up to a million people by archelogists, although census obviously back then was never taken.

The climate arguments and topography was well explained, but u got one or two facts wrong that can be easily checked. The actual largest populated city in the North of Australia (north of Tropic of Capricorn line) is Townsville, Queensland, followed by Cairns, Queensland. Darwin, Northern Territory is actually the third largest city (by population) in Northern Australia and by Australia standards, even these aforementioned "cities" are small (compared to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne etc.). Fun fact. There are only about one million Australians living north of the Tropic of Capricorn line. That is a population smaller than Western Sydney (a portion of Sydney).
