  1. There should be 3 or 4 EV manufacturers in China, not over 100. Other than their poor safety records in China (important in the West making them difficult to sell there), clearly the subsidies are still there by the CCP, meaning that white goods and phone maker manufacturers produce cars as well. Far too many competing EV companies. Many of these fly-by-night companies will be gone soon.
