Both Germany and Japan make high quality high speed bearings, something that China is seemingly unable to make or copy. This is because of industrial culture more than anything. Germans and Japanese engineers take a great deal of precision and care when designing and manufacturing these high speed bearing components, knowing the kinetic extremes these bearings go through, so they collectively do precise and careful work. This is similar with camera lenses. Both Germany and Japan have the best optics imaging quality lenses in the world. The same collective thirst for precision and quality engage optical engineers of both countries. And, unlike China, these specialists are well paid and have seniority management in the company. China in contrast, is always looking for short cuts and money saving operations in manufacturing. And they seemingly always copy instead of going through the hard work or original design and testing. With it's flawed industrial culture, Chinese engineers cannot hope to compete with the quality of German and Jspanese manufactured components.
