  1. Yes, this is correct. The trees, if they are Boral species like deciduous trees or conifers are hardened by evolution to cold winters. They can easy survive cold snaps by withdrawing their sap from the outer part of the tree so it doesn't freeze in the wood. The trees go into a torpor in winter and sap flows again in Spring when warming occurs. Wrapping trees is fairly useless as they are not mammals or birds (they are not warm blooded endotherms) and require and outer coat of fur or feathers to keep stably warm. This is another CCP vanity project designed by a women.
