In the West, a retired athlete, particularly an Olympics medal winner gets sponsorship from sportswear offered coaching options with a good salary, offers to work in sports reporting and so on. Many work offers and these athletes are life-long lauded for their sports performance. Really Wu's embarrasses the 3-3-11 because it demonstrates the callous and controlling attitude they take to retired athletes, including medal winning athletes, because they are forced to find private income to support themselves and their families. The 3-3-16 loses face from it's turpitude (yet again). A sign of the times and the scumbags in the 3-3-11.
