  1. Foxconn is a Taiwanese company. Sichuan is not invulnerable to bombing or missile air raids, even if the factories are built underground. This is equivalent of Nazis building tunnel-like structures to build V-2 missiles with slave labour in tunnels built into the German Alps in Bavaria at the end of World War 2 in Europe. That was largely futile. Building this way makes components harder to come together and is less productive.
