There are many "cancer villages," in China, due to the air and water pollution of heavy industry in the area providing industrial illness and cancer in unacceptably high levels in the local population. Like tannery, plastic and organochloride pesticide manufactures effusions, toxic flux from foundries and so on. The pollution is uncontrollably dumped into rivers and streams and heavy and toxic smoke burning material into the air.
