It didn't take very long to the Japanese and South Koreans to improve the engineering and quality control build of their automobiles to compete with, or even exceed the quality of American and European made automobiles. With 20 years of automobile manufacturing, China made automobiles hasn't even achived the basics of safety and build quality of most other automobile manufacturing countries, in fact, their build quality has seemingly gone backwards from cars made in China even 5 years ago. I blame this on an excessive culture of "if you can cheat, then cheat". It shows in shit-made automobiles in China and by their poor engineering quality. When will they learn in China that no-one likes or respects; "if you can cheat, then cheat". Discerning Western buyers should think buyer beware.
