  2. The amount of nitrocellulose is large, correct, but the primary shell explosive is probably not nitrocellulose; it is not brisant enough to cause a lot of damage. You would need at least primary shell high brisant explosive like TNT to do that. The primary base chemical to make TNT is benzine (and nitric acid). Russia has plenty of benzine. Another weapons grade primary explosive is RDX, which is more powerful than TNT. Have to see if China is exporting the raw chemical ingredients to make that to Russia as well.

  3. I don't think that Xi Jinping wants to be ejected from SWIFT, but is ultimately prepared to take that plunge if he can consolidate military power (I.e, the PLA) into his hands and to guarantee importing energy stocks from Russia. Which is not fully prepared but is being built.
