China is starting to go down the road of the hyperinflation of the Weimar Republic. That era led to the rise of the Nazi party in Germany in the 1930s. There is inflation now in the West too. Inflation in foods and energy is nearly a precursor to either an economic shock or economic collapse as consumption dies, business foreclose en-mass and unemployment soars and negative economic growth occurs, This has already happened in China. Adding hyperinflation (stagflation) by over-printing money to this mix makes everything worse without economic fundamentals being addressed..

The next stage of economic crises in China will be wartime rationing, without there being a war. Consequently, private motorized transport use and refuelling will be rationed, as will food and electricity consumption. There will be unrest by the overall population in China to these measures, and the black market will proliferate, but the internal security and police force may repress it (repress the protests at least).
