  1. Hitler kept talking about peace at international or public forums until the summer of 1939. The CCP will be similar and there will be no ultimatum to the US or any other country on the eve of war.

  2. The worldwide anti-fascist alliance was initially lead by Britain in 1939. Roosevelt collaborated quietly with the British, but could not bring US troops to Britain & North Africa until 1942, after Japan attacked Pearl Harbour and Germany declared war against the US on 11th December 1941.

  3. I agree with this, except that Russia is already a totalitarian fascist state ruled by the dictator Putin. Putin does not care about international law, but his own nationalist obsessions in trying to recreate the Soviet Union, by force if possible, where Ukraine is an old and important component of it in Putin's eyes. But according to many people in Ukraine, they want nothing to do with Russia. In so doing his war there, Putin engages in lawless acts of bombing and killing civilians in Ukraine, so he certainty does not care if China engages the Philippines with hostility.
