  1. This is Southern China. Guangdong and so on, which is usually more prosperous than the poor North (except Beijing). If it's bad there in Guangdong and Fujian, it will be worse elsewhere in China.

  2. If the CCP loses it economically this decade, it will never catch up. It's upcoming demographic decline is too deep for too long for consumption to rebound economic growth. Most of this decline can be laid at the door of the CCP, such as the One Child policy.
