  1. Xi Jinping's policy is to make the uber wealthy (like Ma) in China poorer to diminish competition with him. Ironically, Ma is not much of an enemy of Xi in comparison to his other functional "comrades", like in his precious Rocket Force. That more small billionaires got richer is not much of a surprise either. The predatory crony capitalism of the CCP leads to that effect. How rich is Xi, by the way?
