  1. The CCP has to copy everything, including the warplane's number, e.g, F-35 is J-35. Other than the inferior copy of the original, what ultramaroons!

  2. Conservatively, the PLAAN fighting a major air war against the US and it's East and South Asian allies in the Western Pacific, i would predict a loss ratio of PLAAN warplanes of 4 to 1. Which would get worse if the ground based radar and SAM air defence in China were also knocked out.

  3. Looks like the F-35 is historically better (against it's opponents) than the P-38 Lightning, P-51 Mustang and F-86 Sabre.
