  1. War against Taiwan is a huge risk for China. I doubt the Taiwanese will capituate fast and the US and NATO surely will get involved to come to Taiwan's defence (definitely the Quad will). As well as blockades of raw materials it needs to carry on such a huge war, China faces territorial aggression from the South West where India is sure to invade Tibet to push back the Chinese frontier further away from it's core lands and to make sure the sacred Ganges headwaters are not dammed. The CCP is sure to get some nationalist support from the popluation in general, in first instance of war breaking out, but afterwards when the blockades of food and energy bites the China population will be cursing the CCP, not extolling it.
