  1. I love ICE cars. Their overall energy emissions ARE VERY SIMILAR to EVs. In other words, EVs are not "green" at all. Why? Power over weight ratio is better for ICE cars. EVs have this dirty big battery weighing up to 700kg in a Tesla model Y, which is about 3.5 times the weight of a four cylinder car engine and drive train. Where do u think electricity comes from? The sun? Nope, only 4% of the US electrical grid is powered by the sun, the rest mostly comes from BURNING FOSSIL FUELS. Like coal and gas.

  2. A lot of Chinese students now studying abroad (in the West) are families of top CCP officials and other senior officials, so they have high stakes in the totalitarian system of China. Ordinary, but poor talented Chinese, cannot afford this privilege and don't have connections and so don't leave China. Of course these CCP officials sons and daughters will commit illegal espoinage in their host country's reasearch; they are instructed and motivated to do this. Other Western proponents arguments allowing many Chinese into Western universities, have some valid arguments (their motives also have conflict of interest; profit and kickbacks) except lifestyle and freedom of the West. A small minority only of Chinese students are affected by this. The majority of science and engineering students are impervious to this "atmosphere of freedom" as they have been intensely brainwashed against Western values, before going there.
