Window glass breaking means that load bearing (or building weight) comes straight onto the alumimium window frame, with no steel load bearing frame in the window cavity in the external wall around it. This is a terrible and dangerous cost-cutting measure and shows how poorly built these buildings are. I'm not even an architect or structural engineer and i know that.
