The case of Mr Lui, who was scammed even though he carefully did his work and checking. It's honest and careful people like Mr Lui are the ones who are victims of their rotten society. Few builders or building suppliers in China can apparently be trusted. Unless you can make a wooden house from the lumbar you cut yourself, most home owners are hapless in China, with years of their savings wasted in rotten tail buildings with no legal compensation. It's criminal behaviour like this, i.e. uncompensated mess , that will drive people out of China to build better houses almost anywhere else.
