Xi's dystopia. He's under the pump now. His enemies are hoping he will collapse China, where this is heading. Xi does not have the charisma and intelligence of Mao Zedong to turn around the situation to his advantage. He can only forceably silence his critics, where this has reached new hysterical heights. I don't fully understand this political power structure, but it is very brittle. The wealthier era of Jiang Zemin era of China is over for good, although the CCP and people of China live under his shadow of corruption caused by his misrule. The misrule of Xi is continuing now along a different and even more destructive trajectory, enabling "common prosperity", in reality common poverty. Xi is now so isolated that he is operating in a near vacuum of his own creation.
