  1. Starbucks is NOT thriving here. There's been a downturn due to lockdowns here. But on the opening, patrons flock to their local business cafe where they get smaller amounts of coffee, but better flavour. A few Starbucks are still here in CBDs (downtown) state capital cities in shopping malls and arcades and large regional cities like the Gold Coast.

  2. Sorry Yanks the Italians and Greeks got here first to introduce the outdoors cafe culture, and GOOD coffee to Australia (before they arrived the nation only drank tea). Thank the lord for their arrival here. Starbucks was too late. Signed coffee nut.
