  1. Interesting but short expose by Nobita-san. I have heard there are about a million Japanese Christians in Japan. Christianity had been first introduced to Japan in the 16th century (by the Portuguese) and they have had a harried existence earlier in Japanese history under the Tokugawa Shogunate. Uncertain of the composition of Japanese Christians now. Note that many Westerners are not Christians (including myself) because they may have another religion like Baha'i or Islam. I, like many silent Westerners may not have any religion at all, including Christianity. We may consider all religion to be works of fiction fulminated in a more scientifically ignorant age (hard core Atheists such as myself) or be uncertain of god's existence, making you an Agnostic (but not a Christian).
