This is still a political minefield from both sides that will agree or disagree for primarily Nationalist reasons. It's dangreous and emotive to use the revanchist card on say, the Versailles Treaty when the armistice treaty of Brest-Litovsk, forced on Russia by Germany in December 1917, was far more punative for the Soviets. Notably to say that the Second War war in Europe certaintly consumed more money, resources and killed more people than the First World War, but the Germans were pacified by having their cities largely destroyed , their amies captured or surrendered, their horrible concentration camps exposed for all to see, and their country occupied by the victorious but sorely provoked allies. Which is what you get when you meddle in totalitarian politics and the cult of the leader.
