Are u seriously suggesting that the British Empire (at that time, that is what the Commonwealth was called), take on the Soviet Union, occupying and controlling most of Eastern Europe, including Poland, after being in a total war for nearly six years? Hmm, which decision would make more sense to the Western Allies leaders of the day, fight or diplomacy in dealing with a powerful dictatorship?
