Essentially Winston, your comment is correct about China's moral crisis, but if you understand the modern (twentieth century) history of this country (especially under Mao Zedong), then you begin to understand the China and its people of today. The educated Chinese (which is not all the CCP cadres), probably realize that there is a severe fault-line between the old China and its values and civilization and the modern China. This, in the end, will make all it's efforts into the future, transient and temporary, as this moral "sickness" defaces and debases any creative spark they may reach.
