  1. The CCP live in an unreality bubble (largely of their own making), that beggers even the Western ultra-rich, living in the Bahamas. The "sweeping under the carpet" of ANY disaster in China and of ANY political dissent whatsever psychologically tells a story. The story is the CCP have no confidence in themselves and tighten the screws of absolute power, while in reality making their grip on power more-and-more slippery by each passing year. I mean, why worry about face if you have strong confidence in what you are doing? The CCP are instead (behind the scenes) panicking and playing a losing game of whack-a-mole. Seems worse than futile and pointless and it's dangerous because the need to cover-up and not lose face can kill millions of people; just to effect their own image of themselves.
