  1. Yes, a real library would be better, but then people in China would be finding out about the world outside China by reading books. Even if in dribs and drabs bit of information. Even the control-freak CCP can't tolerate this, so it's auto-de-fe, Fahrenheit 451 time.

  2. Yes, it looks like a library, which is moving in the right direction, but the books are fake because the CCP really doesn't want you to read. You might, as a Chinese person, discover the outside world. The control-freak CCP doesn't want that, so it's auto-de-fe or Fahrenheit 451 time, poltically, for China.
