This war of invasion of Ukraine proper is serious, is highly likely go on for years while intensifying and spreading, and may eventually involve nuclear weapons (Russua has hundreds of nuclear weapons), including mainland China getting nuked (like Beijing) when the war spreads wider, just like World War 2 did and looking like World War 3 will (the final war that will make the human species extinct).
