A lot of these are prostitutes not because they are doing this out of choice; they are doing this to support their parents and granparents, their siblings and their children and partners. Furthermore, their families are pressuring their young daughters to do this, as they want a full stomach and an occasional packet of cigarettes. Women generally have a lower social status then men in China, so they are forced to stoop lower to keep their families going. The real tarnishing image of China is caused by the hateful CCP in treating poor people like animals, particularly poor women.
