  1. Interesting comment from the Bangladeshi guy about the CCP's light tanks for export. As we've seen in Ukraine, the PLA's tanks and attack helicopters invading Taiwan will be cannon fodder to Javelin missiles.

  2. I don't agree with the concluding comments. I think that tanks are still required in combined arms operations at the brigade level. The Pacific (and China coast) is large and not possible to defensively counter with ground-based missile batteries, aircraft and warships everywhere. Tanks have always had a certain level of vulnerability since World War 1 (where they were first used with vulnerability concerns back then) but still seem to be vital weapons in providing firepower and mobility on the battlefield (when wisely tactically deployed). No country has voluntarily ever abandoned tanks in their armies.
